    • Niniejszy dokument określa wymagania dla jednorazowych przenośnych dozowników aerozoli do celów przeciwpożarowych. Niniejsza norma uzupełnia charakterystykę, działanie i metody badań dla dozowników aerozoli gaśniczych do celów przeciwpożarowych, w dodatku do wymagań dyrektywy 75/324/EWG. Wymagania określone w tym dokumencie przeznaczone są dla wyrobów zawierających mniej niż 1 kg lub 1 l środka gaśniczego, który może zostać wyrzucony pod wpływem ciśnienia wewnętrznego i jest przeznaczony do gaszenia pożarów testowych typu A + B lub typu A + F, lub A + B + F według normy EN 2. Dozowniki aerozoli gaśniczych przeznaczone są do użytku przez osoby nieprzeszkolone w zastosowaniach domowych. Nie są przeznaczone do gaszenia pożarów gazu (grupa C) i metali (grupa D). Wymagania dotyczące minimalnej wydajności określone są w Załączniku I w zakresie gaszenia pożarów testowych grupy A, grupy B i grupy F według normy EN 2, stosownie do przypadku. Załącznik A określa kondycjonowanie, którym należy poddać dozowniki aerozoli przed ich badaniem, zgodnie z Załącznikami od B do K.
