    • W niniejszej Normie Europejskiej określono wymagania dla materiałów, konstrukcji i parametrów działania elementów składowych przeznaczonych do stosowania w stałych urządzeniach gaśniczych pianowych oraz wykorzystujących środki pianotwórcze zgodnie z EN 1568-1 do EN 1568-4. Elementy składowe obejmują: dozowniki, zraszacze pianowe, rękawy podpowierzchniowe, rury wypływowe, generatory piany ciężkiej/średniej, generatory piany lekkiej, garnki pianowe, zbiorniki zwykłe i ciśnieniowe. Metody badań podano w Załącznikach od A do K. Podano również wymagania zapewniające uzyskiwanie danych dotyczących parametrów niezbędnych do prawidłowego zastosowania elementów składowych. UWAGA Wartości ciśnienia są podane w barach, jako nadciśnienie, chyba że postanowiono inaczej. Wymagania niniejszej specyfikacji nie obejmują, z wyjątkiem gdzie podano, zastosowania kombinacji elementów składowych do budowy fragmentu lub kompletnego urządzenia gaśniczego. Nie należy zakładać, że elementy składowe zgodne z niniejszą specyfikacją są z istoty rzeczy kompatybilne. Wymagania dla pomp, silników oraz funkcjonowania mechanicznych podzespołów (np. zdalnie sterowanych platform) nie mieszczą się w zakresie niniejszej normy.
